Sunset along a river cutting through the mountain passes alongside the road. I love something about how the tree on the left is the only thing still illuminated by the sun. It really stands out and "pops" at me.
Sam is also an avid photographer.
In other news, my dad is playing softball again and I managed to attend a couple of games on a beautiful, sun-kissed Saturday morning. His competitive fires continue to burn very brightly.
Finally, I leave you all with a couple of bird photos. I continue to find nature photography challenging almost to the point of frustration, but the rewards are worth the effort.
